“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

Showers of Blessing
“If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it” Genesis 4:7.
King Ahab was a great warrior and had great success in his life “but was sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up” 1 Kings 21:25. Success made him greedy and he coveted the vineyard of Naboth to make it a vegetable garden. We read in the Scripture that Naboth inherited the vineyard as he says to King Ahab in 1 Kings 21:3, “The Lord forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!” The King was a very rich man as we see in 1 Kings 22:39 that he possessed an ivory palace. But he coveted the vineyard as it was adjacent to Ahab’s palace. God does not want your vineyard to be made into a vegetable garden. See for yourself which is more valuable; the vineyard or the vegetable garden? He wants you to enjoy it and that is why he has given it to you. Do not give away your inheritance to others even if somebody prophesies over it. Seek God’s answer before you do anything.
As believers, we must be very careful in our day to day lives because we might not be aware when sin creeps in as covetousness or in any form. I have seen this nature in men of God. It is so sad to say that such men are beyond correction. While working for a great ministry, I was sent to a neighbour to resolve an issue for my employer which made him angry. The neighbour was so furious that he asked me, “How dare you step into my property?” I talked to him very softly and he asked me a question which still lingers in my mind and it was,” Is the verse “You shall love your neighbour as yourself” (Matthew 19:19) missing from the man of God’s (name of my employer) Bible?” He was perfectly right. God taught me something which I should be careful of when I handled this incident. Let me tell you, love overtook his anger and over the years we became good friends and we still we are.
Covetousness can be in any form. By being born again, baptized and again baptized with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit is of no use unless we are circumcised within. The circumcision should happen within our heart to keep away from such temptations.
In 2 Samuel 11 we find King David who was supposed to be at the battle remained in
We know what happened to King Ahab as the Lord prophesied through Prophet Elijah as we read in 1 Kings 22:34 – 35. King David, on the other hand repented when God sent Nathan to convey His words.
Dear readers, as you go through this message are you in the shoes of Naboth or King Ahab or King David? If you represent Naboth, make sure you do not give away your inheritance which the Lord has entrusted in you. If you represent King Ahab or King David it is high time to repent. As we read in Psalm 30:5, “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life.”

“If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him” Esther 6:13.
These are the words of Zeresh, Haman’s wife to him when King Ahasuerus planned to honor Mordecai who saved the life of the King. These characters are still alive in our day to day lives. We find more Hamans than Mordecais during these days. Haman was filled with wrath when he found that Moredecai did not bow or pay him homage Esther 3:5.
Every born again believer is a Jew as we read in Romans 2:28 “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly…” and in Romans 2:29 it says, “but he is a Jew who is one inwardly…”
As we receive Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord our inner thoughts and our minds are renewed or circumcised. We cannot behave or be like the worldly people around us. Haman himself tells the King that the Jewish people’s “laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the king’s law.” Esther 3:8. Yes, of course our ways are different from the worldly ways. Matthew 7:13 says, “Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”
We find such Hamans in our place of work or study or business. I have encountered many Hamans in my life. And I still do. Do not worry about such people because as a born again child of God, He is right there to take care of you. Psalm 125:2 says, “As the mountains surround
But the final outcome is what we read in Isaiah 54:17,
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.”

Showers of Blessing!
“And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” Mark 16:3.
Mary Magdalene was only worried about the large stone in front of Jesus Christ tomb as they approached the tomb to anoint Jesus Christ with the spices which they had already made. But much to their amazement the large stone was rolled away. We read that the angels rolled it away for them.
In our day to day life we find such large stones in front of us blocking our path. King David always depended on the Lord when he encountered problems in his path. He knew the Lord more than anybody. Likewise, I always depend on the Lord when such obstacles trouble me. These obstacles are not at all a problem for the Lord. He is there to solve them for you and me.
We read in 2 Chronicles 20:12 how King Jehoshaphat said to the Lord, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” God spoke through Jahaziel and we read it in 2 Chronicles 20:15,”Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” Verse 17 says, “You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you.”
It is always good to remember that God is in control of our lives and He watches over us all the time. He is the help of those who seek Him. We read in Psalm 121:1, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills-from whence comes my help? Here comes the answer, “My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:2. Verse 3 says, “He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps
Dear believer, please don’t be worried of the present circumstances which bother you. Our God is in control and He is ready to help you. You are His precious child and He loves you unconditionally. No matter however large is the stone in front of you, He is able to roll it away.
Be Blessed!

Showers of Blessing!
“And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering” Genesis 22:8.
Abraham was so confident that the Lord will provide the lamb for the burnt offering. We read in James 2:23, “And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.” As they were climbing the mountain for the offering, on the other side of the same mountain the lamb provided by God was climbing for the offering.
To believe God blindfolded needs much of super natural faith. When we started believing the Lord, He started doing supernatural things in our lives. Our lives were transformed in no time. People who knew us were just amazed. God performed miracles in our lives and in fact He is doing it every day of 2011.
When King Artaxerxes found the cause of the sad face on Nehemiah, God touched the heart of the gentile King which made him provide resources for Nehemiah. (Nehemiah 2:8)
God provides His resources and people for His own children. He has appointed people in different parts of the world to take care of us. See how he provided the ravens (1 Kings 17:4) and later on a widow at Zarephath (1 Kings 17:9) to take care of Prophet Elijah.
Let us see what the Lord says to Joshua, “I will not leave you nor forsake you” (Joshua 1:5).
When King Jehoram of
Dear reader, our God is a great provider for His children. He is fully focussed on us and opens doors for us which we are not able to open. Believe Him and He will do everything according to His plans for you. As we read in Exodus 33:14, “And He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” When the provider is in action, it is time to rest on His promises.
Be Blessed!
