Words of blessing must come out of our mouth which is going to be a blessing and a comfort for the people in sorrow. Proverbs 4:24 says, “Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.” As Christians (believers) we need to be very careful with our words. We are the
God wants our thoughts and our meditations in line with God’s Word so that He can bless us. The Lord hates a lying tongue, a heart that devises wicked plans and a false witness who speaks lies. Proverbs 6:16
Joshua 1:8 tells us to meditate on the Word of God day and night and do what the Word says to make our way prosperous and to have good success. Moreover, as we read in Psalm 1:3 that those who delight in the law of the Lord shall be blessed like a tree planted by the waters whose leaves will not wither and whatever they do shall prosper. What a wonderful promise!
